Project Management Apprenticeship
Your mission
As a Project Management Degree Apprentice at AWE, you will have the opportunity to support an array of mission critical projects, exploring your own set of skills and discovering where your passion lies, while also working towards a Bachelor’s Degree.
You could support a variety of projects in our core programme, our infrastructure projects or supporting programmes which ensure AWE’s future capability and growth.
THE QUALIFICATIONS YOU’LL NEED
Five GCSE’s at Grade 4/C or above to include Maths and English.
Three A Levels at grade C or above; or T Level Pass (C or above on the core); or BTEC Extended Diploma at MMM.
You’ll need to be a British Citizen for security clearance.
WORK PATTERN
You’ll be based at our Aldermaston site with one day a week off-site at college.
At AWE, we operate on a nine-day fortnight – meaning you get every other Friday off work in addition to 270 hours of annual leave.
We have free on site parking.

Your journey
In your apprenticeship, you’ll build the foundations of a career that matters.
Project Managers are required to effectively lead and manage teams, communicate clearly and concisely, solve problems effectively, prioritise multiple tasks and work to timescales. You will learn these skills and competencies during your apprenticeship while being supported by passionate and industry leading subject matter experts.
