As a Graduate Quality Engineer, you’ll be part of a team that’s deeply committed to upholding the highest standards in a field where precision and integrity are non-negotiable.
A minimum 2:2 in your degree, typically in Science or Engineering based degrees.
Our work is of the highest national security so you must be a British Citizen to apply.
You will go on a two-year journey designed to grow your expertise across the full project lifecycle – from design and R&D to trials and production.
As a graduate Quality Engineer you will work towards becoming a key member of the Quality function of the future, bringing new ideas and innovation, whilst maintaining the robust standards.
You’ll work alongside cross-functional teams, gaining real-world experience while building toward professional membership with the Chartered Quality Institute (CQI).
Throughout, you’ll find plenty of ways to get involved through regular events, spontaneous activities and the Recreation Society. You’ll also be assigned a buddy, a mentor and Evolve pathway lead who will help your transition into the business, provide pastoral support and work with you on your development journey.

• Develop an understanding of customer satisfaction and the tools and processes utilised in measuring business performance and delivery
• Gain a good understanding of configuration and change management techniques
• Develop an understanding of improvement techniques, such as Lean, Six Sigma, RLI, etc.
• Be able to develop, implement and maintain management systems, processes, procedures and other supporting documentation
• Gain experience in auditing from definition/scheduling through to implementation, reporting and close out
