What’s it like being on a Business Administration apprenticeship?

My name is Sophie and I am a Business Administration Apprentice.

I chose AWE because it seemed like a reliable company to work for with many career paths I could venture down.

I chose the business administration apprenticeship because it is more suited to my skills and, as well as getting a qualification, I get paid for the work that I do! I like the fact that there is a guaranteed job at the end of the apprenticeship and no student debt.

I currently work in a customer service role helping many people in the business with their needs. I have got to experience lots of the different departments and processes at AWE and each one is different in its own way.

The highlight of my job is completing tasks for customers and helping them out. I like that we are rewarded throughout the course with certificates.

In five years, I’d like to be on a career path and going for promotion. I would eventually like to be in a managerial role either at the Skills Academy or for a team of people.
