AWE Improves Ranking in UK’s Best Big Companies to Work For Listing 2023

AWE has continued to rise through the Best Companies ranking this year coming in at number 17 on the list – up four places on its 2022 position.

The Best Big Companies award is open to companies with over 2,000 employees – with those achieving the highest Best Companies Index (BCI) scores featuring in the top 25. Companies who make the grade show commitment to their employees along with high levels of engagement.

In addition to the Best Big Company Award, AWE was also ranked 7th in the Top 10 Best Construction and Engineering companies to work for.

Iain Stevenson, AWE’s Interim CEO, said: “We have an incredibly exciting programme of work at AWE, being delivered by remarkable people. We are proud to play such an important role in our national security, and to be recognised as a Top 25 Best Big Company to work for.
