A Stonewall silver award for AWE’s commitment to LGBTQ+ inclusion
AWE is incredibly proud to announce that it has achieved a prestigious silver award and been ranked within the top 200 companies for the Stonewall Workplace Equality Index (WEI) 2022.The Stonewall WEI is a benchmarking tool that assesses a company’s achievements and progress on LGBTQ+ equality.
AWE is committed to equality at work and to mainstreaming diversity and inclusion in all aspects of its work, and central to this is its Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) Strategy focussed on creating a culture where everyone can thrive.
The D&I strategy shows the key areas that have been identified to progress inclusion at AWE, and this includes undertaking benchmarking with our strategic partners, such as Stonewall, and putting best practice into place as well as ensuring our policies, systems and processes are up to date and inclusive of all.
